When you click the arrow button on the Layers panel, a drop-down menu appears, letting you create layers by selecting from predefined commands. By clicking on the arrow buttons (see Figure 12-13) and dragging, you can create these commands in the Layers panel: These tools are called Layers Panel commands. Photoshop enables you to create some tools in the Layers panel that you won’t find in other applications. To use the layers in Photoshop, click the Layers button on the Layers palette or view them by clicking the Default button on the Layers panel.
